A modern audio player designed for those who appreciate the art of tactile music interaction. With intuitive controls—play/pause, fast forward, rewind—and an analog volume knob, the WKM-N offers a refined, immersive listening experience that encourages focus and mindfulness.
Mp3, cassette and vinyl players have had a resurgence in the past few years, growing in relevance and making a quiet comeback. The WKM attempts to address some of the aspects that make these media types attractive and blends them in a single player.
Through sketch and model exploration, we tried different mechanisms, workflows, form factors, and integration methods.
